Life with Jamisen continues to be a learning and growing experience for both of us. Jamisen is quite adorable and is absolutely a little love bug - that is, when he's not gassy, experiencing acid reflux, or has a wet diaper. But, I suppose adults would also be cranky with either of those three things too.

With Grandpa's stuffed bear from when Grandpa was a tiny tot. |
He is not a big fan of sleeping much at night but his naps during the day are epic and long. I think he must have his night and day mixed up. It is causing his Mommy and Daddy to start to feel psycho so we are hoping that this lack of more-than-2-hour-sleep at night is short lived.

Hold him tight, Daddy! |
We've started giving him showers with Daddy and he loves them!

Dry and happy. |
For Mother's Day (and my birthday!), we went to Seabrook and took Jamisen to the beach for his first time. His sleep schedule got really messed up with the 4 hours in the car seat. He slept for so long that he wasn't interested in sleeping at night (at all!).

Talented Daddy, one handed feeding. |
We were joined by Grandma and Grandpa who loved spending time with their grandchild.

Grandma couldn't get enough |
I've been reading to Jamisen after his feedings but since he doesn't understand what I'm reading yet, we're reading what I'm reading. This morning, we read Time Magazine together. Friday, we read some great personal development books together. This kid is going to be smart!

He sat still for 20 minutes! |
We head to Washington DC this week for our big adventure with Jamisen and President Obama. Wish us luck!
