They make you get blood tests to prove you don´t have any communicable diseases. I am not sure what they would do if they found that you had a communicable disease. The hospital is so modern that we literally had to buy band aids at a grocery store to staunch the flow of blood from the two vial poke with a viciously large needle. Chris won´t let me post the photo of him turning green when they drew his blood but it was an impressively large needle.
